What to Do Right Now

  1. Call us so we can reserve the next available emergency visit.
  2. For a knocked-out tooth: keep it moist (in milk or saliva) and bring it with you—time matters.
  3. If swelling or fever is present, do not apply heat. Cold compresses can help with pain/swelling.
  4. Avoid aspirin directly on gums/teeth. Over-the-counter pain relief as directed can help.
  5. Bring any broken pieces, restorations, or appliances to your appointment.

If you’re experiencing uncontrolled bleeding, facial swelling affecting breathing, or trauma with loss of consciousness, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
